Fibre Reinforced Plastic Grating
Fibre Reinforced Plastic Grating (FRP Grating)
FRP grating is a moulded one – piece fiberglass reinforced plastic grating, available in standard panels or fabricated into customized panels ready for installation. FRP grating is composed of 65% resin and 35% continuous fiberglass strand.
Features / Benefits
Corrosion Resistance
FRP products are known for their ability to provide corrosion in the harshest environments and chemical exposures. If the grating is exposed to continues submersions, splash, spills, fumes or gases, the high resin content of FRP resist corrosion to a wide range of chemicals.
Anti Skid Surface
FRP gratings provide slip resistant in wet and oily environment. They have a higher friction factor.
Fire Resistant
FRP gratings are engineered to a flame spread rating 25 or less as tested in accordance with ASTM E-84.
Two directional load bearing
Square pattern moulded grating offers load bearing capacity in both directions.
Light Weight
FRP gratings are light weight and can be easily handled without means of mechanical hoists or lifts.
Low installation Cost & Long life
The cost for the installation of FRP gratings are very low and have long life span.
