Perforated Sheets

Perforated Sheets

The Rule of thumb for perforation of a sheet is that the hole diameter should not be less than the thickness of the material. If the hole-diameter to thickness exceeds the 1-to-1 ratio, additional costs will be charged.

For Stainless steel and special steel materials, it is preferable to specify atleast three thickness gauges thinner than hole diameter.

How to order/specify

Consider
  • Application or use of product
  • Physical Requirements ( Open Area, Strength)
  • Quality Perforated Metal
  • Quantity : Number of full sheets
  • Material : Type of Material desired such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium etc
  • Thickness : For steel or stainless steel specify thickness in inches.
  • Perforated Patterns : Round/Square perforations with Staggered/straight pitch
