One of our clients asked us to design the demister in one of their polyethylene unit’s Low Pressure Accumulator. The vessel was of a vertical vessel configuration with a column ID of 1300mm and Tan-Tan length of 4424mm.

- The demister installed will now cause a pressure drop of 4mm water column with an operating velocity of 2.02m/s at a healthy Operating Velocity – Maximum Velocity ratio of 0.53. The location of the demister and support detail drawings were designed and drafted along with process performance guarantee given to customer.
